Wow! My family and I can not believe we are already 97% funded only 2 weeks into the campaign! We are so excited, humbled and grateful to have so much support! Now, we’re starting to think about the bigger next steps that have been in the back of our minds…what a great opportunity!
You might be wondering…
- What happens after you are 100% funded? We still keep going! The campaign isn’t over until February 28, so please keep sharing our campaign with others! Once we reach our goal, I will announce some stretch goals that will benefit local schools as well as provide our current backers with some additional rewards.
- Can I order another book or change my order? Yes you can! Go to the confirmation email you received after you originally ordered and click on the word “manage” that’s next to where it says “Pledge details”. That should allow you to change your order. If you need help, let me know!
- What are you going to do with the funds raised? The original $4000 will cover a first print run of my book. Anything above and beyond that will help pay for illustrations, editing, marketing and will allow us to donate books!
- What else do you have planned over the next 3 weeks?
*This Friday, my daughter Cami (the main character of my book) and I are going to be on television! We will be on the Midmorning show on WCCO, a news station based out of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
