Born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Growing up, Rebecca loved drawing in her sketchbook and creating stories through her art. Her growing interest in visual storytelling, eventually brought her out to San Francisco where she received her MFA in Children’s Book Illustration from the Academy of Art University.

Rebecca has illustrated a number of award-winning children’s books for independently published authors. Her work has also been published in Spider and Ladybug Magazine.

When she’s not coloring on her iPad, you can find her either playing with her exuberant French Bulldog, Phoebe or feeding her hungry turtle, Golfton in Wyoming, Michigan.
