My kids and I are big fans of this series, so we were excited for a new one. We were not disappointed! We enjoyed this story as Cami and Wyatt discover that, while shows and video games are fun, spending all day on screens means you miss out on other fun stuff. I appreciated the advice and ideas at the end for keeping kids off screens, but most of all I appreciated that this book wasn’t at all preachy or overly harsh on screen time in general. At this moment, the last thing I wanted to feel was guilt over letting my kids spend more time than usual watching TV, but I felt like this story highlights the importance of choice and helping kids think through their options and choices. We’ll be reading it regularly, for sure!

My son, who spends far too much time on screens, LOVED this book! This cute, entertaining story hits very close to home. We had to chuckle as Cami and Wyatt said some of the very same things we’ve heard in our own home. The book is packed with humor and beautiful illustrations, but the most important element is the powerful lesson that Cami and Wyatt learn about the downfall of too much screen time. If too much screen time is a problem in your home, then this book is for you. I can’t recommend it enough! Simply brilliant.
