The story is really great and helps kids understand, both visually and contextually, how having too much stuff is a hindrance when you’re trying to find what you’re looking for. Both of my kids can relate to Cami—they KNOW they have too much stuff—and loved watching the time tick by on the clock as she tries to sort through her belongings. One hour is simply not enough time! We will be reading this book often as a reminder to clean up, sort, and purge items regularly! Highly recommend and of course, Rebecca Sinclair’s illustrations are amazing.

We really enjoyed this delightful story and it helped to bring about a good discussion with my daughter about keeping her room tidy and what happens if we have “too much stuff”.
It’s nice to have the tips from other parents at the end too.

I loved this book really fun to read. Full of color with wonderful illustrations that draw you into the story and a valuable lesson told in a sensitive way. It made me smile when the lesson learned also spread to the parents. Loved the page at the end with advice on how others deal with their kids messy rooms. An all round brilliant read.
